Billable reps

Your bill is €49 + (billable reps × €19). This page defines billable rep exactly, because the definition is narrower than most people assume and the difference is money.

The definition

A participant is billable when all four are true:

  1. They are not archived.
  2. They are in a role.
  3. That role has a plan.
  4. That plan is live.

Miss any one and they are not billable. Not discounted — not counted.

What this excludes

Everyone with a login who is not paid commission. Admins, finance, RevOps, you. Lokom charges for reps under management, not for people managing them, so add as many admins as you like.

Anyone on a draft plan. No time limit, no grace period, no auto-promotion. A draft plan cannot run a calculation, so it has no operational value and costs nothing.

That is true on every tier — but on Free it is bounded by the tier's other limits (2 plans, 5 rules, 100 deals), so "model everything for free" only holds up to those. → Plans and pricing

Archived participants. Archiving stops the charge and keeps the history.

Reps with no login. Irrelevant either way — whether a rep ever signs in has no bearing on whether they are billable.

We count once, at the end of the period

Your bill is a snapshot taken when the period closes. Not the peak during the month, not an average.

The snapshot date is shown on your billing page before it happens, so what you see in the preview is what the invoice says.

No proration

Timing inside the period does not change the price:

What happenedBilled
Rep went live on day 2, still there at snapshotFull €19
Rep went live on day 28, still there at snapshotFull €19
Rep went live on day 2, archived on day 20Nothing
Rep was there at period start, archived before snapshotNothing

This keeps the invoice a plain count × rate, which is what makes it auditable in one pass. The snapshot date is public information — timing changes around it is legitimate.

The free tier cap

Free supports one billable rep at all times. The cap is enforced at the three actions that would increase the live billable set:

  • Publishing a draft plan
  • Adding someone to a role whose plan is already live
  • Reactivating a retired plan

Everything else is unguarded. When you hit the cap, Lokom shows you the exact amount you would be charged before sending you to checkout — you always see the figure before you consent to it.

Auditing your bill

Your billing page lists exactly who is billable and, for anyone excluded, why — "no role", "plan in draft", "archived". Compare it against a Pipedrive headcount export and any difference should be explicable from that list.

If someone is billable and should not be, the fix is one of: archive them, take them out of the role, or retire the plan.
