Connect Pipedrive

Pipedrive is where Lokom gets deals, deal owners and the field values your rules read. It is the first thing to set up and, for most teams, the only integration they ever configure.

Connect

You are offered the connection during onboarding. To do it later, or to reconnect, go to Organization → Data Sources.

  1. Choose Pipedrive and start the connection.
  2. Pipedrive asks you to authorise Lokom. Approve it with an account that can see all the deals you want to pay commission on — Lokom inherits that account's visibility.
  3. You are returned to Lokom and the first sync starts automatically.

The first sync pulls your deals, pipelines, users and custom fields. On a large Pipedrive this takes a few minutes; you can keep working while it runs.

Use an admin account

If you connect with a rep's account, Lokom sees only that rep's deals — and everybody else's commission silently computes to zero. Connect with an account that sees everything.

Map your fields

Once the sync lands, go to Organization → Data Sources → Fields.

This is where you tell Lokom which Pipedrive field means what. Deal value and close date map themselves. The ones worth checking are the custom fields your rules depend on — the flag that marks a renewal, the field holding MRR rather than total contract value, the product category that pays a different rate.

A rule can only read a field that is mapped here. If a field you need is missing, add it in Pipedrive first, then re-sync.

Keep it connected

Pipedrive access tokens expire, and Lokom refreshes them on a schedule. If the refresh fails — someone revoked the app, or the connecting user left the company — a red banner appears across the app and the connection card at Organization → Data Sources → Connection offers a Reconnect Pipedrive button.

Watch for the intermediate state too: Connection at risk means refreshes are already failing but data is still flowing. Reconnect then, not after it drops. → Pipedrive isn't syncing

Reconnect promptly. While the connection is down, new and updated deals stop arriving, so in-flight periods drift out of date without any error at the rule level.

What Lokom does not write

Lokom does not create, edit, move or close your deals, and never changes a deal's value.

It does hold two write-capable scopes — webhooks:full (so it hears about changes instead of polling) and deal-fields:full. The full granted list is on the connection card under "Access granted by Pipedrive". → Pipedrive

The only thing it puts in front of your reps is the commission panel on the deal — see What reps see.
